"The acquisition of treasures by a lying tongue Is a fleeting vapor, the
pursuit of death. The violence of the wicked will drag them away, Because
they refuse to act with justice" (Proverbs 21:6-7 NASB). The Book of
Proverbs continually reminds us of two facts. First, God is pleased with
those who live by honest means and hard work. Second, we will reap what we
sow. The wicked will not escape the consequences of their actions.
